Everything you need to know about using Artisio as a customer or artisan.
Artisio is a mobile app that connects customers with verified local artisans and tradespeople. You can browse professionals by service category, book an appointment, track your artisan in real time, and leave a review — all in one place.
Yes. Artisio is completely free to download and use for customers. You can browse, book, chat, and track at no cost.
For artisans, creating a profile and receiving bookings is free. Optional paid features include promoted listings and tokens to boost your visibility in search results.
No. Artisio is a discovery and booking platform only. We do not process payments or take any commission on jobs. Payment is agreed directly between the customer and artisan — by cash, bank transfer, or any method that suits both parties.
Artisio is currently available in the United Kingdom. We plan to expand to additional regions in the future.
Use the in-app Support section to raise a ticket, or email us directly at support@artisio.uk. You can also use the contact form on this website.
Open Artisio and allow location access, or enter your postcode manually. Browse by service category or use the search bar. You will see artisans sorted by proximity and rating.
Tap on an artisan's profile, select the service you need, choose an available date and time, confirm your address, and submit. The artisan will accept or decline your request and you will receive a push notification right away.
Yes. You can start a chat with any artisan directly from their profile page before making a booking. Use this to describe your job, ask questions, or agree on scope.
Once your booking is confirmed and the artisan is on their way, a tracking screen becomes available in your bookings. It shows a live map with the artisan's current location, updated every 30 seconds. You can also tap Track Artisan to open directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Artisans are required to submit identity verification before their profile goes live and they can accept bookings. Look for the verified badge on profiles for added assurance. Artisans can also upload trade certificates and qualifications to their profiles.
You can cancel a booking from your bookings list before the artisan marks it as in progress. Cancellation terms are between you and the artisan, as Artisio does not process payments.
After a booking is marked as complete, you will be prompted to leave a review from your booking history. Reviews can only be left for jobs that actually took place on the platform.
Download Artisio, create an account, and select Artisan as your role. Complete your profile, add your services, upload any certificates, and submit your identity verification. Once approved, your profile goes live and you can start receiving bookings.
Yes. All artisans must complete identity verification before they can accept bookings. This protects customers and helps build the trust that makes artisans more successful on the platform.
Artisio offers optional paid features for artisans, including tokens used to promote services and appear higher in search results. There is no commission on bookings and no charge for basic use.
Yes. You set your own rates for each service. Artisio does not dictate pricing. What you charge is between you and your customers.
When a customer requests a booking, you receive a push notification. Open the booking to see full details — service, address, date, time, and any notes from the customer. You can accept or decline. If you accept, both you and the customer are notified and the booking moves to your Active Jobs tab.
You can reject a booking and are asked to provide a brief reason. The customer is notified. Frequent unexplained rejections may affect your visibility in search results, so keeping your availability up to date is recommended.
Tokens can be purchased within the app. You can spend tokens to promote individual services, which boosts their visibility in customer search results for a period of time. This is optional and completely separate from booking functionality.
Go to your account settings in the app and find the Security section. Tap to enable two-factor authentication and follow the steps to link your authenticator app.
You can delete your account from within the app settings. All your personal data will be removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We use Firebase for authentication and do not sell personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
